I gave this book 4 stars as it was fast paced and incorporated lots of very loved fantasy themes. There are lots of twists and turns along the way. The characters are well-developed with intricate meaning, they had lots of secrets to be uncovered throughout the book. For lovers of ‘The Little Mermaid’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. I cannot wait for the series to continue!
