‘This is a great book for history lovers who are interested in the British Empire. Everything is explained very well and clearly, but in a fun way where we can compare it to our own daily lives. It is written very well and I love the paragraphs at the end of each section that explain how ordinary things like tea have come in to Britain. This is an EXCELLENT book.’
