Where the Light Goes by Sara Barnard

Young Reader Review

‘This is a very powerful and emotive book albeit with an unusual opening. The story follows Emmy’s grief after the suicide of her older celebrity sister and the ensuing months as she searches for a way to cope. Overall a very moving book that opens your eyes to what it feels like to lose a loved one. I would however say that some parts are quite full on so I would recommend from 14+.’
