We are a long established independent bookshop situated in Sevenoaks High Street, conveniently close to the Blighs Car Park in Pembroke Road.

We stock a broad range of over 13,000 titles in the shop including fiction, biography, history, travel and maps, local history, audio books and an extensive children's section.  In addition we stock stationery items such as greetings cards, notelets and gift wrap.

Our knowledgeable staff are happy to answer any enquiry and we can obtain many titles within 24 hours.

We can post books to you (see Orders & Enquiries) at home or abroad.
If the titles you require are out of print we are able to source and supply secondhand editions.

Please check our site regularly.  We will publish details of our seasonal booklists and special events from time to time, as well as a list of books recommended by members of the many local reading groups.

WEALD LITERARY WALK BALLOT
Weald-Walk-Draw-1.gif
Here is Charlotte Luxford, Deputy Editor of VINE magazine drawing the names of the lucky participants in this year's Weald Literary Walk from an urn held by Valerie Glencross, co-owner of the Sevenoaks Bookshop, where the draw took place.  The ballot was introduced this year because of the high demand for tickets for this event, which is one of the many events in the Sevenoaks Literary Celebration, which is limited to 35 people.  Jill Webster, chair of the organising committee, is on the right of the picture The draw was held in the Sevenoaks Bookshop on Friday 27th August.
